Waterville Opera House
The Waterville Opera House has been Central Maine’s cultural center since 1902, treating audiences of all ages to the magic of the performing arts. With an 800-seat venue it has been host to theatrical productions, ballet performances, concerts, vaudeville and comedy acts, touring shows, as well as a variety of community celebrations and special events.
Sheridan Construction did the $5 million renovation project at the venerable hall that included the improved acoustics, new balcony seating, new flooring, restored woodwork, new technical equipment, a new set shop, dressing rooms and a 2-ton freight elevator that goes directly to the stage.
