General Electric Bangor
Located adjacent to The Bangor International Jetport is General Electric’s diaphragm fabrication facility. This 50-foot-high, 60,000-square-foot structure houses state-of-the-art machinery for the fabrication of turbine parts for large steam turbines. Attached is an 8,000-square-foot office with support facilities.
The scope of work involved for the turn-key building package included sitework, foundations, the pre-engineered building, four 30-ton bridge cranes and extensive concrete pits, trenches and equipment bases.
