The Bangor Target Area Development Corporation, a non-profit
corporation, has built an information technology incubator facility, located at
the Maine Technology Park, in Orono.
The Target Technology Center @ Orono, a 20,000 square foot
information technology incubator facility, will house companies utilizing
state-of-the-art computer and telecommunications equipment, including
"super-computer" and geographic information systems (GIS). An incubator
facility nurtures fledgling companies until they are ready to move out on their
own.
