Built in 1982 Scott Paper's commercial towel production facility has a footprint exceeding 300,000 square feet. Constructed on an island in the Kennebec River this facility is comprised of a thirty foot high by over eight hundred foot long warehouse with extensive conveyer lines to a computerized palletizer. The commercial finishing building and mezzanine area are for the sizing of product from parent roll to finished towel size and packaging. This facility has two interior train wells and over twenty tractor trailer loading docks.
