Located adjacent to The Bangor International Jetport is General Electric's diaphragm fabrication facility. This 50 foot high, 60,000 square foot structure houses state of the art machinery for the fabrication of turbine parts for large steam turbines. Attached is an 8,000 square foot office with support facilities.
The scope of work involved a turn-key building package including sitework, foundations, the pre-engineered building, four 30 ton bridge cranes and extensive concrete pits, trenches and equipment bases.
