This 20,000 square foot speculative office building at FirstPark Business and Technology Center in Oakland, Maine, was a project undertaken by the Kennebec Regional Development Authority, which is the entity that represents the 24 communities that have participated in the development of the business park. The KRDA has received support from Colby College, Maine Rural Development Authority, the Waterville Area Industrial Development Corporation and Gardiner Savings in funding the project. This building is to provide readily available, turnkey, premium office space for prospective tenants in hopes of creating jobs in Central Maine.
