Since its inception, DeLorme, a leading international publisher of maps, mapping software and on-line mapping applications, has enjoyed unprecedented growth.

For their new corporate headquarters the design program included a 42 foot diameter globe, ("Eartha" the world's largest globe), a retail store, 50,000 square feet of offices on three floors and 37,000 square feet of warehouse for a total of 103,000 square feet.

The building's atrium is a key visual element. The interior features bold exposed structural steel and is fitted with full height glass. The retail store, that is accessed through the atrium, provides customers the opportunity to demo DeLorme's Software products.

Today, visitors to DeLorme often comment on the building's uniqueness and architectural complexity. The DeLorme building is both a local and international Maine landmark.
