The recently completed office addition for Dearborn Precision Tubular Products, marked Sheridan's seventh expansion to the original building that Sheridan built in 1966. Acting as both designer and general contractor, Sheridan utilized its own forces for concrete work, pre-engineered building erection, insulation, roofing and siding. Special attention was given to the main frame structural system to allow for, not only the clear span, but also to support the two ton under-hung cranes. The building also has extensive machine isolation bases and electrical grounding as part of the floor slab.
