L.L.Bean's 126,000 square foot bulk storage distribution warehouse was developed by The Boulos Company on a site in the McAllister Farm Subdivision in 1987. Due to poor underlying soil conditions, Sheridan worked in conjunction with a geotechnical consultant to design an innovative foundation / slab solution avoiding more costly foundation alternates.
Despite the challenging site and winter construction this project was constructed on a fast-track schedule in just four and a half months.
